Sai Tunuguntla joined AlixPartners as a managing director based in Hong Kong. Tunuguntla has experience in driving large-scale, strategy-led operations and digital transformations in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry.

Tunuguntla’s 25 years of TMT consultancy and industry experience includes restructuring operations, driving cost efficiencies and improving enterprise performance at more than 30 companies. In addition, Tunuguntla has advised clients on technology strategy, capital productivity, organization transformation, growth strategy, business planning and infrastructure M&A.

Tunuguntla joined AlixPartners from McKinsey, where he was a partner and the global co-leader of the technology strategy and operations domains within the firm’s TMT practice. He also led the creation of a rapid diagnostics tool suite and advanced analytics solutions and developed partnerships with high-tech solution providers. Prior to McKinsey, he led cost transformation and corporate and growth strategy engagements for telecommunication, technology and retail clients at Kearney, and prior to that, he was a principal member of the technical staff at AT&T, leading operations planning for B2B services.

“Sai’s strong track record of implementing successful business transformations will play a key role in supporting our clients as they navigate disruption in the TMT sector in Asia and globally,” Steve Deedy, managing director and head of partnership matters at AlixPartners, said.
