Abacus Finance Group promoted Brian Green and Rafal Rydzewski from senior associate to vice president and Joseph Lee from associate to senior associate. All three joined Abacus in 2014 and work on the investment team, structuring, underwriting and executing new investments.

“These three are key members of the Abacus team and have helped us complete over 100 investments since our launch in 2011, putting us past the $2 billion mark in total financings,” said Tim Clifford, Abacus co-founder and CEO. “As we look forward, we will continue to put our sponsor relationships first and provide them with the level of service they have grown to expect.”

Green was previously an associate at both Aterian Investment Partners and Wafra Partners and an analyst at Sawaya Segalas. He began his career as a consultant at FTI Consulting in the Corporate Finance and Restructuring Group.

Rydzewski was previously an analyst at BNP Paribas’ Merchant Banking Group. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Global Structuring team as an associate.

Lee was previously an analyst at GE Capital. He began his career at General Electric in the financial management program.

Abacus Finance is a direct lending company which provides cash flow senior financing to private equity-sponsored, lower-middle market companies across a wide array of industries. It targets debt financing opportunities of up to $75 million with a typical hold size ranging from $10 million to $40 million, and finances companies with EBITDA between $3 million and $15 million.
