Abacus Finance Group served as administrative agent and lead arranger for senior secured credit facilities to support the refinancing of Rainshadow Labs by Westhook Capital Partners.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in St. Helens, OR, RainShadow Labs is a provider of private label manufacturing services to natural and organic personal care brands. Westhook Capital is a private equity firm based in Los Angeles.

“I am glad that we were able to close our first deal with Abacus,” Wes Knuth, partner at Westhook Capital, said. “We found them easy to work with, and the transaction was handled smoothly and efficiently.”

“In our first transaction with Westhook, we were pleased to support a highly attractive niche company with an impressive track record and tremendous potential for future growth,” Tim Clifford, resident and CEO of Abacus Finance Group, said.

“We enjoyed working with Wes and his team,” Rafal Rydzewsk, vice president of Abacus Finance Group, said. “We value their knowledge of the space and their transparency.”

Rydzewski, Austin Rendell and Greg Scanlon were among the Abacus team members involved in this transaction. Goulston & Storrs provided legal counsel to Abacus.
