Abacus Finance Group, a provider of cash-flow-based senior debt for sponsor-led investments in lower-middle-market companies, today announced that Tori Simon has joined the firm as an analyst. The firm also unveiled a newly redesigned website that provides a clear and accessible overview of its Total Partnership Approach.
As a member of the investment team, Simon will be involved in structuring, underwriting, executing, monitoring and valuing investments. She previously served as an analyst on Macquarie Group’s Principal Investing Team and began her career at J.P. Morgan as a credit analyst. Simon holds a B.A. in Economics from Kenyon College.
“Our team’s experience continues to deepen with hires like Tori Simon, positioning us better than ever to deliver swift, efficient service to our sponsors,” said Tim Clifford, CEO and founding partner of Abacus. “These capabilities are highlighted in our new website, which outlines key milestones in the firm’s growth, from our founding in 2011 by myself and President Sean McKeever, to surpassing $1 billion in direct lending originations within five years, and growing to more than $3.9 billion in financings today, along with the recent formation of multiple SMAs with institutional asset managers.”
“The new website also highlights the five core tenets that define our approach to helping private equity sponsors achieve their goals through flexible, experience-driven credit solutions,” added Clifford. “In short, it captures the key reasons why clients count on us – and why they continue to partner with us.”
