Culain Capital Funding closed and funded a $4.5 million accounts receivable financing facility for a Texas-based manufacturing company specializing in precision machining and advanced component manufacturing.
As the client’s operations and customer base expanded, management sought working capital beyond the availability of its existing bank line of credit to support production requirements and new business opportunities.
The new facility converts eligible accounts receivable into immediate working capital, helping bridge the gap between production costs and customer payments. This gives management greater flexibility to fund materials and labor, support day-to-day operations and pursue additional customer orders as the business grows.
Culain Capital worked with the company’s bank to complete the required subordination, establishing the lien arrangements needed to provide the new accounts receivable financing facility.
“Manufacturers commit cash to materials and labor before they collect payment from their customers, and that gap can widen as orders increase,” James Franz, president of Culain Capital, said. “This facility connects working capital to the company’s eligible receivables, giving management more flexibility to support production and pursue growth. We’re pleased to partner with this management team.”
Dan Stacy, senior vice president of business development at Culain Capital, added, “Coordinating with the company’s bank was an important part of completing this transaction. We worked through the required subordination to put a financing structure in place that addresses the company’s working capital needs. We look forward to supporting management as the business continues to grow.”
With the facility in place, management can focus on meeting customer demand and pursuing new opportunities with working capital supported by its eligible receivables.
