Monroe Capital added Simon Wein as a director on the direct originations team. Wein will be responsible for originating new business opportunities within the East Coast region and will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Wein brings over 10 years of experience in direct lending and structured finance. Prior to joining Monroe, he served as a director in the capital structure advisory investment banking group at Raymond James, where he advised on complex financing, restructuring and M&A transactions.
