Pinnacle Bank, in collaboration with the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, will deliver a $100,000 AHEAD Program grant to the Veterans Transition Center of California, based in Marina. Pinnacle Bank applied for the grant in partnership with Veterans Transition Center of California (VTC). After a competitive selection process, VTC was awarded the AHEAD Program grant to help fund the organization’s “From Service to Success” program.

“Pinnacle Bank is so proud to provide this significant grant to the Veterans Transition Center of California,” Jeffrey D. Payne, president and CEO of Pinnacle Bank, said. “VTC knows the importance of keeping loved ones together — and that includes Veterans, family members and pets. This grant will help those who have sacrificed to serve our country keep the companions they love as they rebuild their lives together.”

AHEAD grants enable FHLBank San Francisco members like Pinnacle Bank to give a critical boost to local economic development programs and projects that directly address pressing needs in low- to moderate income communities.

“AHEAD grants support local organizations that provide job training, support small businesses and open pathways to economic opportunity — work that can change lives and strengthen communities,” Tom Dapice, senior vice president and community investment officer of FHLBank San Francisco, said. “We are proud to partner with our members to support innovative economic development initiatives that have a lasting local impact.”
