Republic Business Credit provided a $750,000 factoring facility to a growing temporary staffing firm to support its operational requirements. This is the first funding that originated through Republic’s recently announced partnership with Meritus Capital.

Recognizing the unique challenges posed by the cyclical nature of the staffing sector and the cash flow gap that many growth-oriented firms face, Republic leveraged its industry experience and diverse financial toolkit to structure a tailored financing solution. The funding will enable the company to take on larger clients, increase recruiter headcount, expand into new markets and manage payroll obligations without being constrained by cash flow limitations.

“Republic’s knowledgeable team worked diligently to make the underwriting process as easy as possible,” Paul DeLuca, CEO of Meritus Capital, said. “Ensuring a seamless start to the partnership is always ideal, and we look forward to a successful partnership between Meritus, Republic and company executives for many years to come.”

The transaction marks the first milestone under the new partnership, as the two firms focus on long-term relationship-building with growing staffing businesses.

“Just like our clients, we are constantly evolving, and we seek to provide the best solutions aligned with their growth strategies,” Robert Meyers, CEO of Republic, said. “By empowering temporary staffing companies, we are supporting a sector recognized globally as a critical leading indicator of macroeconomic health.”
