Gordon Brothers, the global asset experts, welcomed Tron Allen as senior managing director, further strengthening the firm’s ability to deliver integrated solutions to private equity sponsors, banks and investment bankers across a broad range of industries.

Based in Texas, Allen will help drive business development efforts across Gordon Brothers’ platform, expanding client relationships and supporting the firm’s continued growth in key markets. He will work closely with teams across appraisal, disposition, investment and advisory services to deliver the full breadth of Gordon Brothers’ capabilities to clients in North America.

“Tron’s deep industry relationships, commercial expertise and strategic perspective make him a tremendous addition to our team,” Kyle Shonak, chief transaction officer, North America at Gordon Brothers, said. “Throughout his career, he has built trusted partnerships by helping clients navigate complex situations and identify opportunities for growth. His experience and collaborative approach will further strengthen our ability to deliver the full power of the Gordon Brothers platform to clients across industries and markets.”

Allen joins Gordon Brothers after serving as chief commercial officer at Eclipse Business Capital, where he led business development initiatives for the asset-based lending platform. Prior to Eclipse, Allen spent almost five collective years as a senior vice president at Deloitte in its corporate finance division and then at BKD Corporate Finance. Earlier in his career, he spent just over a decade with GE Capital, holding corporate finance leadership positions and working with companies across sectors.

“I’ve long admired Gordon Brothers’ reputation for solving complex business challenges and delivering innovative solutions for clients around the world,” Allen said. “The firm’s breadth of expertise, entrepreneurial culture and commitment to serving clients across every stage of the business lifecycle creates a unique platform in the marketplace. I’m excited to join such a talented team and help expand the firm’s relationships and capabilities in important markets.”
