Tiger Group will auction more than 240 late-model trucks and trailers surplus to the ongoing needs of a national commercial truck-driving school. The timed, online auction opens on Thurs., Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. (CT) and closes on Thurs., Sept. 24, at 10 a.m. (CT) at SoldTiger.com.

The fleet boasts an extensive selection of Class 8 tractors from leading manufacturers, including Freightliner, International, Volvo, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Sterling and Mack. Also available are more than 100 dry van trailers from Great Dane, Trailmobile, Fruehauf, Wabash, Utility, Hyundai, Strick, Dorsey and Lufkin.

Bidders will find an OEM mix that offers significant parts and component value, including engines, transmissions, axles, cabs, wheels, suspension components and other reusable truck parts.

“This nationwide sale represents a largescale buying opportunity for the transportation sector, including dealers, rebuilders, exporters and parts companies,” Chad Farrell, senior managing director of Tiger Commercial & Industrial, said. “Road-ready, late-model units will draw immediate interest. Non-running trucks and those requiring mechanical repair will be attractive to buyers looking to refurbish and rebuild them for service, as well as to dismantlers and salvage yards with the ability to break them down and resell the parts.”

The assets are located across 30 states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
