Wingspire Capital has provided a secured revolving credit facility to Lifelines, a sensory art engagement company founded by Doug and Melissa Bernstein, the co-founders of Melissa & Doug Toys.

Proceeds are being used for working capital and growth capital for Lifelines, which designs and sells FlowArt dot-by-letter pointillism-style artwork, scented sensory writing pens and markers, flameless candle diffusers, and other products that draw users away from screens so they can feel more focused, present and grounded while reducing anxiety and stress.

Wingspire Capital worked closely with Lifelines leadership to provide a flexible financial structure to meet the company’s needs.

“We enjoyed working with Doug and his team to learn the objectives of their growing business so we could create a tailored capital structure that meets their exact needs,” Brian Scully, managing director at Wingspire Capital, said.

Doug and Melissa Bernstein founded Lifelines with a vision of providing Sensory Immersion activities that use the body’s natural neural pathways and senses such as touch and smell to interrupt the fight-or-flight response that often accompanies stress.

“The Wingspire Capital team was smart, collaborative, responsive, and committed as they worked alongside us as a true partner with a shared goal throughout this process,” Doug Bernstein, co-founder of Lifelines, said.
