PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes Lane as Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking

With more than 35 years of banking experience, Ted Lane will focus on developing commercial banking relationships across North Texas, with an emphasis on Collin County and the broader Dallas-Fort Worth market.

PlainsCapital Bank added Ted Lane tp its Dallas lending team as executive vice president of commercial banking. With more than 35 years of banking experience, Lane will focus on developing commercial banking relationships across North Texas, with an emphasis on Collin County and the broader Dallas-Fort Worth market.

“Ted has spent his career building strong relationships with business owners and helping them navigate complex financial decisions,” Thomas Ricks, Dallas region chair at PlainsCapital Bank, aid. “His experience and market knowledge make him a great fit for PlainsCapital, and we’re excited to welcome him to the team.”

Prior to joining PlainsCapital, Lane held senior leadership roles with First United Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and other Texas banking organizations. His experience spans commercial banking, treasury management, asset-based lending, business development and sales strategy. He has worked with small businesses to large middle-market companies across a variety of industries, advising owners on lending, treasury management, cash flow, growth initiatives and financing strategies.

Lane earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a Certified Treasury Professional and an active member of the North Texas business and civic community. He currently serves as a commissioner on the City of Parker Zoning Board of Adjustment and has served with numerous business, nonprofit and community organizations.
