International Factoring Association Launches Women in Factoring

The new initiative is designed to connect, support and empower women throughout the factoring industry.

The International Factoring Association (IFA) launched Women in Factoring, a new initiative designed to connect, support and empower women throughout the factoring industry.

Women in Factoring was established to create a welcoming community where women at every stage of their careers can build meaningful professional relationships, exchange ideas and grow through networking, mentorship, educational programming and peer collaboration. The group is open to all women working in or connected to the factoring industry, regardless of role or experience level.

The idea for Women in Factoring was brought to the IFA by a group of industry leaders who shared their vision for creating a dedicated community for women in the factoring industry. As the initiative took shape, those leaders became the Women in Factoring Founding Committee, helping to guide the group’s direction, programming, networking opportunities, mentorship initiatives and educational resources.

The founding committee includes:

  • Kim Haller, vice president of growth and strategy, Capital Depot
  • Kait Martin, president, Dune Funding Group
  • Randi Villaverde, financial services consultant
  • Renee Williams, president and chief operating officer, Freight Revenue Consultants

Together, the committee will focus on fostering a strong and inclusive community while encouraging greater participation and leadership opportunities for women across the factoring industry.

“When Kim, Kait, Randi and Renee shared their vision for Women in Factoring with me, I had the opportunity to learn more about what they hoped to accomplish and the impact they believed it could have on our industry,” Tania Daniel, executive director of IFA, said. “Their passion and goals quickly earned my support, and I’m grateful that the same leaders who brought this idea forward have stepped up to serve as our founding committee. I look forward to seeing Women in Factoring create meaningful connections, encourage professional growth and strengthen our industry for years to come.”
