Avante Capital Partners added Gladys Cordova as chief financial officer. With over 25 years of accounting and financial management experience, Cordova brings a deep understanding of the lower middle market to Avante’s team.
Prior to joining Avante Capital Partners, Cordova served as chief financial officer, chief compliance officer and principal at BPOC, a Chicago-based private equity firm. In that role, she oversaw financial reporting, fund accounting and investor relations across private equity funds, while also leading compliance, technology and HR. Earlier in her career, Cordova held the roles of vice president and controller at CIVC Partners, managing all accounting, audit, treasury and financial operations for more than 50 entities, including parallel funds, investment holding companies and management entities. Cordova began her career at KPMG and Hamilton Partners.
“I’m thrilled to join Avante Capital Partners, a firm that is revolutionizing the private credit and private equity industries by generating exceptional returns while remaining steadfast in its values of integrity, collaboration and purpose,” Cordova said. “As I look to my new role, I’m eager to join the Avante team on this journey of growth and success as it transforms the lower middle market.”
Ivelisse Rodriguez Simon, managing partner at Avante Capital Partners, said, “Avante Capital Partners is proud to welcome Gladys to our leadership team and we are confident her strategic insight into the financial industry will make her an outstanding asset for both our team and our partners. The addition of Gladys to the Avante Capital Partners team further illustrates how we continue to hire the best in the industry to elevate our firm across all verticals and from all angles.”
