FGI Worldwide, a global company in the commercial finance industry, hired Philip Coleman as managing director, FGI Tech. Coleman will lead operations for the firm’s technology business, including TRUST, FGI Tech’s credit insurance management software. In this role, he will oversee strategic product initiatives and partner with the sales team to accelerate growth.

Drawing on a career that bridges finance and technology, Coleman will unite teams across FGI Tech to advance product development and innovation that simplifies credit insurance management and sets new benchmarks for efficiency and insight.

“We are thrilled to have Phil guiding the operations of our tech division,” Sami Altaher, president of FGI, said. “His expertise in technology strategy and product innovation will be especially pivotal in the continued evolution of TRUST, ensuring the platform continues to set the standard for credit insurance management.”

Coleman said, “I am honored to join FGI Tech and lead the next chapter in the advancement of TRUST. TRUST was built by FGI to solve real operational challenges in credit insurance management, and it is exciting to see how far the platform has progressed. I am looking forward to working with the talented FGI Tech team to keep building on that foundation, enhancing the platform and delivering even greater value for our clients.”

Prior to joining FGI Tech, Coleman held leadership roles in both finance and AI-driven technology companies. Coleman earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from Babson College.
