Jonathan Vance joined Dorsey & Whitney as a partner in the firm’s finance and restructuring group in Dallas, the international law firm announced today.

Vance focuses on a wide variety of secured financing transactions representing both bank and non-bank lenders in a variety of cash flow and asset-based lending transactions, including lender finance, acquisition finance and other specialty finance transactions.

Prior to joining Dorsey, Vance served as a finance attorney at several international law firms, where he concentrated his practice in cash flow and asset-based lending, and other syndicated and non-syndicated finance transactions. He comes to Dorsey from K&L Gates, where he was a partner. Vance received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan to our Finance & Restructuring team. His depth of experience on a wide variety of secured financing transactions will serve our clients well,” Eric Lopez Schnabel, finance and restructuring practice group co-leader for Dorsey, said.

Vance concluded, “Dorsey has a nationally recognized Finance & Restructuring practice. I look forward to contributing to Dorsey’s outstanding team and to serving our clients.”
