VSS Capital Partners, a private investment firm specializing in the healthcare, education and business services sectors, made two appointments.
Brian Dreher has been appointed controller, succeeding long-time controller Michael Ambrose, who will be retiring at year-end after nearly three decades of dedicated service to the firm. Dreher will be working with Andrew Goscinski, partner, chief financial officer and senior managing director.
In addition, Elizabeth “Liz” Green has joined as vice president of investor relations. Green will work closely with David Fann, partner, senior managing director and head of investor relations.
“We are delighted to welcome Brian to VSS,” Jeffrey Stevenson, managing partner at VSS, said. “His extensive experience at Tiger Management managing complex financial operations will be instrumental as we continue to execute on our growth strategy.”
“Liz brings exceptional expertise and a proven track record in investor relations,” Fann said. “Her deep industry relationships, combined with her leadership and strategic insight, make her an invaluable addition as we expand our investor outreach and engagement.”
Green joins VSS from H.I.G. Capital, where she served as vice president, capital formation, managing capital-raising efforts across the U.S. and Europe for multiple funds, while driving investor communications and relationship management initiatives. Prior to H.I.G., Green held roles at Deutsche Bank, First Republic Bank and Weill Cornell Medical Center, building a diverse foundation across investment banking, investor relations and research.
Dreher brings nearly 30 years of senior finance and accounting leadership experience, most recently as controller at Tiger Management, and before that as acting CFO of Tiger Veda management, CFO of Goffe Advisers and audit senior at Deloitte & Touche, where he supervised teams overseeing financial statement audits for investment partnerships.
“I’m honored to join VSS at this juncture in its evolution,” Dreher said. “I look forward to collaborating with the talented finance team to advance the firm’s operational and strategic objectives.”
“It’s an exciting time to join VSS,” Green said. “The firm’s strategic positioning in the lower middle market and its strong track record of delivering value create unique opportunities for deepening and expanding investor relationships.”
