Independent Growth Finance (IGF) has announced three senior appointments. Michael Fletcher has been promoted to Managing Director, and Andrew Hey to Head of Credit. Joysheel Mitter also joins the business as Commercial Director.

The appointments follow another strong year for IGF, a leading provider of tailored funding solutions for mid-sized UK businesses.

Michael Fletcher, who has been with the firm since 2017 becomes Managing Director, responsible for Credit, Portfolio and Risk. Michael has been instrumental in the growth journey of the business, having previously held roles as Head of Portfolio and Commercial Director within the business. Mike’s promotion reflects not only his contributions to date, but also IGF’s confidence of the role he will play in the future success of the business.

Meanwhile, Andrew Hey has been promoted to Head of Credit further extending his responsibilities to ensure IGF continues to support existing and new clients with their additional lending requirements throughout their own growth journeys.  Joysheel Mitter joins IGF as the new Commercial Director, leading the sales and marketing function nationally. Joysheel brings a wealth of industry and financial experience from his previous commercial and product leadership roles at GE Capital, Wells Fargo, and Citibank and the firm is excited to see the impact he will make.

Commenting on the promotions and new appointment, Steven Chait, CEO, says “Mike and Andrew’s promotions, alongside the addition of Joysheel, are important steps in strengthening IGF’s leadership team and keeping us focused on what matters most — building long-term relationships with our clients and delivering the speed and flexibility of service they expect. We’re proud of the year we’ve had and excited about what’s to come.

“These promotions reflect the continued investment we’re making in people, ensuring we have the right expertise and leadership in place as we continue our growth story.”

Michael Fletcher, Managing Director at IGF adds: “I am thrilled with the promotion and excited to keep contributing to the business. It’s a privilege to be part of such a dynamic team, and I look forward to partnering with and supporting our clients, as we strengthen our position as the UK’s leading independent ABL funder.”
