Hogan Lovells has announced that Fernando Margarit has joined as a Corporate & Finance partner in the firm’s Infrastructure, Energy, Resources & Projects (IERP) practice in Miami. Margarit is joined by counsel Brittany Buhler. Both join from Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP.

“We are excited to welcome Fernando and Brittany to the firm,” said James Doyle, Global Head of Corporate & Finance. “They have significant experience in the technology, telecoms, and infrastructure sectors and this will further enhance the strength of our offering in these areas, both in the U.S. and also globally.”

His practice emphasizes subsea and terrestrial network builds, as well as data centers, and he has worked with leading global tech companies.

Buhler focuses on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and infrastructure projects. Margarit earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from University of Miami. Buhler earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from Northwestern University.
