eCapital, a technology-enabled provider of financing for small and medium-sized businesses across North America and the U.K., appointed Akshay Lazarus as chief product officer, bringing extensive expertise in AI strategy, product innovation and digital transformation.

Lazarus has led large-scale digital initiatives at globally renowned companies. Most recently, as general manager, Gen AI at Uniphore, he pioneered AI-driven advancements that redefined conversational analytics. His previous leadership roles at Cisco, Amazon Web Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers saw him architect AI strategies, scale SaaS and spearhead transformative business models that delivered measurable growth.

With expertise spanning cloud strategy, generative AI, agile product management and operating model design, Lazarus is well positioned to strengthen eCapital’s industry leadership. His ability to align cutting-edge strategies with execution, foster high-performing teams, and develop impactful digital products will play a vital role in shaping the company’s future.
