nFusion Capital welcomed Curt Powell as senior vice president of business development. Powell will lead efforts to cultivate and maintain client and referral relationships in the construction industry across the United States to support business development efforts and ensure alignment with nFusion Capital’s business objectives.

“Curt’s deep experience in construction factoring will help us continue to expand our focus on this underserved industry,” Jason Lippman, CEO of nFusion Capital, said. “What’s more, as a previous professional athlete for the Detroit Tigers, he understands the power of discipline and teamwork.”

Throughout his career, Powell has consistently earned top sales performance awards while providing strategic leadership. In his previous role as executive vice president for CapitalPlus Financial Services, Powell spearheaded the firm’s growth into a significant player in the construction finance space. A highly motivated individual and a natural leader, he also led the development and implementation of process improvements that resulted in a remarkable 250% increase in sales in two years.

“I am excited to bring my construction expertise and leadership skills to nFusion and help businesses grow,” Powell said. “It’s a complex industry with many nuances, and I feel I can make a real difference.”

Curt is actively involved in the International Factoring Association, the Turnaround Management Association, and the SFNet’s Mid-South Chapter where he also serves as a board member.
