Bethany Lennon
Managing Director of Financial Writing & Communications
HYPERAMS

Bethany Lennon has accumulated 15 years of writing and editorial experience in the asset-based lending appraisal industry. She has played a key role in the success of her employer, HYPERAMS, through her dedication, conscientiousness and enthusiasm.

Lennon began her career as a writer for one of the largest appraisal firms in the U.S., and she also managed her own contract writing business. At HYPERAMS, she leads a team of writers that produce appraisal reports and other publications for Hyper Valuation Services, a newly created division of the company. She has built the division’s writing team from the ground up while playing an instrumental role in designing all of HYPERAMS’ disposition proposals and marketing templates over the years.

One professional challenge Lennon has faced was her responsibility for hiring, training and managing a team during a period of notable company growth while also adapting to life as a new mother. In order to overcome these obstacles, Lennon has put her self-discipline and effective time-management skills to work while learning to rely on the senior members of her team to succeed.

Despite her many years in the industry, Lennon continues to be passionate about producing well-written, high-quality appraisals. “I believe each project, regardless of size or complexity, deserves a comprehensive narrative that illustrates and provides context to the numbers, and that the quality of the writing and attention to detail are as important as the accuracy of the analysis,” Lennon says.

In recent years, Lennon has focused on honing her management skills and striving to be a dynamic and caring leader. She aspires to serve as an inspiration to fellow employees, taking an interest in their professional and personal lives while emphasizing the importance of being flexible, remaining curious and leading by example.
