TRINITY CAPITAL: LEADING THE WAY IN PRIVATE CREDIT INNOVATION AND GROWTH

Trinity Capital has cemented its status as a top dealmaker, delivering record-breaking growth and shareholder returns while spearheading innovation in private credit. With international expansion, strategic investments and a commitment to excellence, Trinity continues to redefine success in the BDC space.

Trinity Capital is a premier private credit alternative asset manager and internally managed, publicly traded BDC with a robust dividend yield of ~14%. The company provides access to diversified businesses spanning tech lending, equipment financing, life sciences, warehouse lending and sponsor finance.

Over the past year (Q4/23 to Q3/24), Trinity committed $1.5 billion in new investments, funded $1.2 billion and added 35 new companies to its portfolio, which now includes 145 diversified investments. High-profile deals include Rocket Lab, Whoop and Athletic Brewing. Trinity’s credit performance is exemplary, with 98.6% of its portfolio performing and an annualized loss rate of just 27 basis points since inception.

Since its Q1/21 IPO, Trinity has consistently set record investment income and delivered more than $273 million in cumulative shareholder distributions. Among 46 publicly traded BDCs, Trinity ranks first in weighted average yield (16.1%). Its focus on ROE (~16%) and accretive growth has been bolstered by its management of private investment vehicles, which add liquidity and income.

In 2024, Trinity launched a Sponsor Finance group led by industry veterans and launched operations across verticals in Europe. With a team of finance experts, Trinity combines innovation and rigorous underwriting to deliver long-term value, earning recognition as one of ABF Journal’s Most Innovative Companies.
