Temple Joins Chemical as SVP/Director, Asset-Based Lending

Ray Temple joined Chemical Bank as director of Asset-Based Lending.

“I am very excited to bring Ray Temple on as the newest member of the Chemical Bank lending team,” said Dan Terpsma, Chemical’s director of Commercial and Regional Banking. “His extensive experience in commercial finance and underwriting will prove to be an invaluable asset to the organization as he continues to grow our expanding Asset Based Lending team. Ray will be instrumental in the success of our organization.”

Temple will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners to originate and structure asset-based loans. In addition, Temple will be responsible for identifying referral opportunities and carrying out the department’s strategic business plans. Temple will also oversee the management of the ABL team’s sales and service efforts and ensure the bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies and procedures.

Temple came to Chemical Bank with more than 21 years of experience in ABL originations, commercial finance underwriting and investment analysis. He has experience tailoring strategic solutions for middle market companies throughout the Midwest.

Chemical Financial is the largest banking company headquartered in Michigan.
