AlixPartners hired corporate and financial investigations specialist Gavin Williamson as a managing director in its Investigations, Disputes & Risk practice. He will be based in the firm’s London office.
Williamson specializes in complex, multi-jurisdictional fraud and corruption investigations, with 19 years of experience in forensic accounting, asset-tracing and corporate governance. He has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal as an expert in investigations, asset recovery and forensics and litigation consulting.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Williamson was a partner in BDO UK’s forensic practice where he was responsible for the investigations service offering in the UK and internationally. He also served as a director in the investigations leadership team at Deloitte Forensic.
