Quon Joins Keybank ABL Division as Sr. Business Development Exec

David Quon joined KeyBank Business Capital, the asset-based lending arm KeyCorp, as a senior business development executive. Quon will be based in Chicago and report to Paul Cronin, head of KeyBank Business Capital.

He will be responsible for originating, structuring and growing the group’s ABL portfolio for institutional and commercial clients.

Quon brings more than 25 years of experience as a strategic advisor and financial capital partner for publicly traded and privately held middle-market businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada, including work in M&A, restructurings and recapitalizations and transactions related to growth, cross-border, specialty finance, capital markets and private equity. He has completed more than 150 transactions with an aggregate value greater than $10 billion, serving as an advisor, lender, borrower and investor.

Quon most recently served as a managing director at White Oak Global, where he was responsible for originating and structuring new alternative direct lending middle-market financing and investment opportunities for the Chicago Midwest Region and Canada. Previously, Quon held various senior leadership roles, with Congress Financial (nka Wells Fargo Capital Finance), FirstMerit Business Credit (nka Huntington Bank), CIBC World Markets, Orchard First Source Capital and DN Partners.

Quon is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and Turnaround Management Association and previously served as a board of director for several private entities.
