Eleanor Shanks will join Sidley and Austin in London as a member of Sidley’s global M&A and Private Equity practice. She comes to Sidley from Proskauer Rose.

Shanks’ practice covers a wide array of private equity and corporate transactions, including cross-border acquisitions and disposals, real estate, infrastructure and life sciences transactions, and joint ventures. She also advises clients in shareholder arrangements and managed equity plans, co-investments, and corporate governance and general corporate matters. Her clients include leading private equity sponsors, investors and funds, financial institutions, corporates and management teams.
