“David will provide valuable insights to our clients based on his considerable sector experience and exceptional understanding of large banks,” said Gil Luria, head of Institutional Research. “He is a respected voice in this important coverage area. His track record complements our strong FIG team as we continue to strengthen our reputation as a leading provider of financial services coverage nationwide.”_x000D_

Konrad, based in the firm’s New York office, joins a growing team of analysts who provide research insights on publicly owned bank, thrift, specialty finance and financial technology companies. Altogether, the firm’s award-winning institutional research analysts focus on coverage of nearly 400 publicly traded companies in select industry verticals, including 125 publicly listed banks. The firm also covers 75 small-cap banks through its Bison Select product.

Konrad most recently served as head of U.S. Bank Research with Macquarie Capital, after previous work as head of Large Cap Bank Research with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. He also has 14 years of experience, chiefly in commercial banking leadership roles, with Harris Trust & Savings Bank and LaSalle National Bank, both in Chicago.

D.A. Davidson’s Equity Capital Markets group provides capital markets services and products that include investment banking, institutional sales, trading, research and corporate services. The firm’s industry-driven research team is supported by a dedicated group of sales and trading professionals.
