Kevin Lockhart joined Perella Weinberg Partners as a partner in the company’s advisory business. Based in New York, Lockhart will provide strategic capital markets advice to clients across industries.

Lockhart joined Perella Weinberg Partners after building his own independent financing advisory business, Lockhart Creative Capital Solutions, where he advised corporate clients on a range of transactions, including acquisition financings, recapitalizations, and project and working capital financing transactions. Previously, he served as the head of leveraged finance origination at BMO Capital Markets and as the joint head of global leveraged finance at Jefferies. Prior to Jefferies, Lockhart served as a managing director in leveraged finance at both Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

“We are excited to welcome Kevin to the firm,” Peter Weinberg, partner and CEO of Perella Weinberg Partners, said. “With three decades of experience in the capital markets as well as leading some of the world’s largest leveraged finance groups, his addition meaningfully strengthens our capital markets advisory practice. Kevin’s perspective will be invaluable to our clients as we work with them to find solutions to their complex financing needs.”

“The reputation of PWP as a trusted, solutions-oriented and experienced partner in addressing the strategic challenges of diverse corporations was central to my decision to join the firm,” Lockhart said. “Their ability to provide clients with creative solutions is widely recognized, which has become even more important in the current environment.”

Perella Weinberg Partners is a global independent advisory firm, providing strategic and financial advice to corporations, institutions and governments.
