Old Compass Financial, a new field examination firm, commenced operations from its headquarters in Charleston, SC.
The firm is led by Joel A. Good, an asset-based lending industry veteran with more than 24 years of field examination and audit experience. Good previously held management positions with Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Durkin Group and Ernst & Young. He also holds an active CPA license in South Carolina.
“As the field examination function continues to grow and develop, I am thrilled at the prospect of building an efficient and effective exam team that is focused on mitigating lender risk,” Good said. “OCF is passionate about serving as a representative of our client base, and we view our role as partner in risk management to be vital to our clients’ ongoing success.”
Old Compass Financial offers service to domestic lenders with borrowers located primarily in the east, southeast and Midwest. The firm also has established affiliations with field exam providers in other regions of the country.
