SSG Capital Advisors acted as investment banker to Winona Foods in the private placement of a term loan. The term loan was placed alongside a revolving credit facility. Winona Foods will use the new financing to refinance existing indebtedness and to provide for additional liquidity for future operations and growth initiatives. The transaction closed in December.

Leveraging two production facilities in Green Bay, WI, the company has become a manufacturer and distributor of natural, processed and specialty cheese products to the food service, industrial ingredients, retail and co-packing sectors.
