CohnReznick, a professional services firm, added Brian Zimmerman as managing director as it continues to expand its valuation advisory services practice. Zimmerman will focus on valuation services for machinery and equipment.
Based in Houston, Zimmerman brings nearly 20 years of experience providing valuation and advisory solutions across multiple industries and global markets. His valuation services have supported a range of business needs including financial and tax reporting, FIRPTA compliance, transaction due diligence, property tax issues, litigation support, insurance and asset-based lending. He has led numerous domestic and cross-border engagements for clients in industries that include oil and gas, power and renewables, infrastructure, industrials, healthcare, consumer and retail and telecommunications.

Zimmerman joins CohnReznick after serving for eight years as senior vice president for a global investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital solutions, financial restructuring and financial and valuation advisory. Before that, he was part of the economic and valuation services practice for a Big Four firm for 10 years.
A graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, Zimmerman holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
