Yukon Partners, a provider of junior capital for middle market private equity transactions, partnered with The Riverside Company to support its investment in Western Botanicals.

“We are excited to partner with the management team to build on the company’s strong momentum,” Brad Roberts, co-chief investment officer of Riverside’s capital appreciation strategy, said. “Together, we aim to support continued organic growth, expand product and format capabilities and further establish Western Botanicals as a comprehensive solution for its customers.”

Don Shaver, CEO of Western Botanicals, said, “We strive to partner with industry-leading nutraceutical brands through unmatched service, transparency and quality. Our partnership with Riverside will allow us to continue this mission through organic growth while simultaneously executing an M&A strategy to build best-in-class capabilities.”

Dave Sampair, a partner at Yukon, added, “The company’s full-service capabilities, diversification and well-invested facilities position Western Botanicals to continue driving strong growth. We are excited to support the Western Botanicals team and look forward to another successful partnership with Riverside.”
