Jeffrey A. Wurst, a senior partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek and a regular contributor to ABF Journal, has been elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL).

“The ACCFL is dedicated to promoting commercial finance law through education, legislative reform and recognition of distinguished practitioners,” Wurst said. “I am privileged to have been elected as a Fellow of ACCFL over six years ago. I am now honored to have been elected as a Regent and look forward to working to further the College’s important work.”_x000D_

Wurst is co-chair of the firm’s Financial Services, Banking & Bankruptcy Department where he oversees complex commercial finance transactions such as syndications, C&I, asset-based lending and collection related litigation. He is a panelist on the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Commercial Arbitrators and is frequently called upon as an advocate, mediator and arbitrator in commercial finance proceedings under New York State and federal law.

His most recent contribution to ABF Journal took a critical look at MCAs: Why Are MCAs Doing So Well in the Courts?

The American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers was founded as a professional organization 25 years ago, and has inducted more than 300 of the nation’s preeminent commercial finance practitioners and scholars.
