White Oak Commercial Finance Adds Gouskos to ABL Team as a Managing Director

Christopher Gouskos joined the asset-based lending team at White Oak Commercial Finance, an affiliate of White Oak Global Advisors, as a managing director of originations, departing from his previous similar role as managing director of originations at White Oak Global Advisors, which he has held since 2015.

For the past eight years at White Oak, Gouskos was responsible for origination cash flow and enterprise value base term loans. In response to increased investor appetite for ABL and increased activity in White Oak Commercial Finance’s ABL business, Gouskos will join WOCF’s dedicated ABL team to continue the development of successful loan originations and increase the business’s footprint in the broader ABL space, with a particular focus on large ticket asset-based lending opportunities.

“White Oak Commercial Finance, with multiple pockets of capital to deploy, is well poised to take advantage of what we expect will be a unique market opportunity as we enter the new year,” Gouskos said. “We certainly want to hit the ground running!”

Gouskos has more than 30 years of relevant experience in the corporate finance industry and has previous experience working with asset based lending, serving as senior vice president of asset-based lending at Conesco Finance from 1996-2000 and division president for asset-based lending at Textron Financial from 2000-2004 and Bank of America’s ABL group from 1993-1996.

“We are thrilled to welcome Christopher to the ABL team,” Tom Otte, CEO of White Oak Commercial Finance, said. “His extensive industry experience and leadership abilities will be invaluable as we continue to grow WOCF’s ABL program.”
