Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, has appointed Randy Wilson as partner-in-charge of its consulting practice. Based in Houston, he will oversee the firm’s consulting teams delivering strategic advisory, digital transformation, commodity trading advisory and energy transition services to clients across the energy, utilities and financial services sectors.
Wilson has more than 30 years of experience in global energy markets, with leadership roles spanning North America and Europe. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with boards and executive leadership teams on commodity trading strategy, finance transformation, risk management and regulatory oversight. At Weaver, he has helped organizations strengthen trading operations, modernize financial and operational processes and evaluate emerging opportunities tied to energy transition and digital innovation.

His work includes supporting digital and data-driven initiatives, helping organizations navigate evolving regulatory and sustainability expectations, and advancing the commercialization of innovative technologies. His client experience spans major global organizations across these industries.
