Suresh Vasan joined financial advisory firm Lazard as a managing director in the Private Capital Advisory’s Private Capital Solutions Group. He will be based in Houston.
“Suresh brings over two decades of experience in global principal investing in the energy industry,” said Holcombe Green, managing director and global head of Secondary Advisory at Lazard. “He will be a valuable addition to our team as the secondary and direct private placement market continues to grow in size and scope.”
Vasan previously served more than 11 years with GE Energy Financial Services, where he was most recently a managing director leading midstream equity investments. Prior to that, he served as a lead for Projects & Investments, Americas at Cargill and in various roles at BHP Billiton and Enron.
