WSFS Financial named Arthur J. Bacci interim CFO, adding to his current role as executive vice president and chief wealth officer. Bacci will replace Dominic C. Canuso, WSFS’ former CFO, whose employment with WSFS will end on Aug. 31.
WSFS Financial completed the brand conversion and systems integration of Bryn Mawr Trust into its primary subsidiary, WSFS Bank.
WSFS Bank promoted Christine E. Davis to executive vice president and chief risk officer. Davis is a certified public accountant and has been with WSFS for nearly 23 years, holding many different roles within its internal audit division.
WSFS Financial received all required approvals to acquire Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation, the parent company of the Bryn Mawr Trust Company, with the board of governors of the Federal Reserve approving the acquisition.
WSFS Bank named Shari Kruzinski executive vice president and director of retail delivery. In her new role, Kruzinski will continue to oversee the bank’s retail network, contact center and retail operations.
WSFS Financial received approval from its stockholders for its previously announced merger with Beneficial Bancorp, wherein Beneficial would merge with and into WSFS.
WSFS Financial appointed current Chairman, President and CEO Mark A. Turner executive chairman of the board. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rodger Levenson will move into the president and CEO positions and become a board member.
