Expera Specialty Solutions, a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners, closed a $50 million senior secured revolving credit facility and a $285 million senior secured term loan. Deutsche Bank Securities and Barclays acted as joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners.
Expera Specialty Solutions entered into a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets related to the Old Town Fuel & Fiber pulp mill. Expera expects to complete the transaction as part of a sale process under §363 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
