Alvarez & Marsal has named Jonathan Nus as a managing director in its Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) in New York.
Nus will advise clients on complex, technical accounting and reporting matters and capital markets transactions.

With more than 20 years of experience, Nus is a recognized and trusted advisor in accounting and financial reporting, combining deep capital markets experience with significant technical accounting, financial analysis and operational knowledge.
Nus has held prominent technical advisory roles with the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) Investor Advisory Committee and the Financial Reporting Executive Committee, the senior technical committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for financial reporting and other organizations with a financial reporting focus.
Prior to joining A&M, Nus was a managing director in EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice, where he co-led the group’s solution related to M&A activity and EY’s Disclosure Effectiveness solution. He also previously served as senior director at S&P Global, where he led the global financial services accounting specialist team.
