Mostofi Joins Eclipse Business Capital as Chief Executive Marketing Officer

In this role, John Mostofi will oversee the business development team and play a vital role in the firm’s strategic initiatives.

Eclipse Business Capital (EBC) added John Mostofi as chief executive marketing officer. In this role, Mostofi will oversee the business development team and play a vital role in the firm’s strategic initiatives.

He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and strategic insight to our platform,” Marty Battaglia, CEO of EBC, said. “Having known John for decades and worked with him in the past, I look forward to working with John and firmly believe he will play a critical role in EBC’s continuing success and evolution.”

Mostofi brings over 30 years of executive leadership and expertise in banking and financial services.  Throughout his career, Mostofi has played a pivotal role in expanding capital deployment and strategic solutions for complex transactions.  Prior to joining EBC, Mostofi served as the chief operating officer for the Armory Group. Prior to the Armory Group, Mostofi was an executive vice president at Hilco Capital Solutions, leading a team to support a range of complex investments. Prior to Hilco, Mostofi served as an executive vice chairman to global banking at Bank of America, where he led a team of financial professionals providing a broad range of financing solutions to commercial and institutional clients across the United States.

Mostofi earned his bachelor’s in public accounting and MBA from Loyola University in Chicago.  He is also a CPA and a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Economic Club of Chicago, the Illinois CPA Society, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Executives’ Club of Chicago.  Additionally, he is a FINRA Registered Principal and holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 securities licenses.
