Moritt Hock & Hamroff Adds Trio of Attorneys

Moritt Hock & Hamroff hired Nafisa Ahmed as an associate in the firm’s not-for-profit group; Natalia Thomas as counsel in the firm’s creditors’ rights, restructuring and bankruptcy group; and Tina M. Kassangana, who previously worked for the firm for three years, as an associate in its corporate, M&A and securities group.

“My partners and I are excited to add these three highly skilled attorneys to our growing team,” Michael Cardello III, managing partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff, said. “Their additions further strengthen several of our growing practice areas while demonstrating our continued commitment to client satisfaction.”

Ahmed concentrates her practice on all aspects of not-for-profit matters. Prior to joining Moritt Hock & Hamroff, Ahmed interned with multiple law firms in New York and California, gaining experience in multiple practice areas, including corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, privacy and cybersecurity, intellectual property and employment law. Ahmed will be based in Garden City, NJ.

Thomas concentrates her practice on all aspects of commercial mortgage foreclosure litigation. Thomas will be based in Garden City, NJ.

Kassangana’s diverse practice includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, securities, general corporate governance, regulatory compliance and secured lending. Her additional corporate experiences include leading and chairing buyer-side RWI underwriting due diligence matters. Kassangana’s practice experience spans multiple sectors, including but not limited to fintech, NFTs, cannabis, medical devices, professional services, healthcare, insurance, construction and manufacturing. Kassangana will be based in New York.
