Mercer has appointed Brent Heslop, Julie Van Waveren and Paul Kibbe to key leadership roles in Mercer’s Global M&A Transaction Services Business. Heslop (based in Seattle) is now head of Global M&A Business Transformation, reporting to Jeff Cox, head of Global M&A Transaction Services. Van Waveren (based in Miami) has joined the M&A team as a Principal and Kibbe (based in New York) has been named a senior principal in the business, both reporting to Heslop.

“We’re pleased to name Brent, Julie and Paul to their new roles,” said Cox, “Their diverse experiences and proven track records of success will aid us in providing exceptional service and solutions to our clients. At Mercer, we understand that questions of organization and leadership talent are at the core of driving deal value. Under Brent’s leadership, the Business Transformation team will help clients deliver on their deal thesis.”

Heslop has more than 25 years of relevant experience in both consulting and in HR leadership roles. Prior to joining Mercer in 2017, he worked in consulting for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Novations Group and has held HR leadership roles at Eli Lilly and Company, AT&T and Asurion.

Van Waveren brings more than 15 years of experience with a focus in talent strategy and talent acquisition. Previous to this role, Van Waveren led the Career Business for Mercer, Mexico.

Kibbe has more than 13 years of professional services experience working with clients to drive business performance through organizational and workforce improvements. Prior to Mercer, he was a director in Advisory Services for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
