Amanda Rose Martin joined the McDonald Hopkins Cleveland office as an associate in the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group in the firm’s Litigation Department.
In addition to advising clients in data privacy and cybersecurity, Martin has counseled state and federal banks, automotive and personal property finance companies, fintech companies, and small loan companies on a variety of regulatory matters. She has particular experience with state and federal consumer financial services compliance issues, including licensing requirements consumer credit laws, and consumer protection laws.
Martin has an interest in the application of technology to regulated industries, furthering her experience in the review of innovative business and lending models (including bank partnership lending), apps, fintech platforms, and electronic contracts for compliance with state and federal laws.
Martin previously spent four years as an associate at McGlinchey Stafford in Cleveland. Super Lawyers has named her a 2019 Rising Star in the area of Banking, and she was recently selected as a member of the 2019 inaugural class of FDCC Ladder Down Cleveland, a yearlong leadership, business development and mentoring program for female attorneys.
