Karin Kovacic joined Monroe Capital as managing director, East Coast Region, of the firm’s originations team. She will be based out of the New York office.

Kovacic previously served as a senior vice president at Alcentra Capital, focusing on business development and deal origination. Before Alcentra, she led CBIZ’s growth, business development and marketing efforts in the New York metropolitan area. Prior to CBIZ, Kovacic spent four years as vice president at Fifth Street Capital, where she was responsible for Northeast region deal origination and marketing and business development efforts.
