Hana Financial and its factoring and asset-based lending subsidiary, Hana Commercial Finance (HCF), hired several seasoned industry veterans to support their factoring and ABL businesses and expand into new industries.
Michael Gardner joined Hana Financial as first senior vice president, CCO and portfolio manager. Gardner has more than 30 years of experience in banking and commercial finance and has held various senior positions at East West Bank, MUFG Union Bank, Summit Financial Resources and GE Capital.
Tae Chung joined HCF as senior vice president and marketing director. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the factoring industry and previously held a similar role at Finance One for 16 years.
Austin Sohn joined HCF as first senior vice president and New York branch manager. Sohn has an extensive background in commercial finance and will focus on the company’s continuing growth on the East Coast.
Yvonne Gonzales joined HCF as vice president and team leader of its Transportation Factoring Team. She has more than 20 years of experience in transportation factoring and recently held positions as senior account executive and team leader for Riviera Finance.
