GLC Advisors, an independent investment bank focused on M&A and restructuring advisory, appointed Eric Coombs as managing director and head of its capital markets advisory practice.
Coombs brings more than 25 years of leveraged finance experience, having built loan capital markets businesses at Morgan Stanley and Jefferies. Throughout his career, he has overseen the underwriting, structuring and pricing of debt facilities for both sponsor and corporate clients and has executed numerous private placements for middle-market borrowers.
“We are delighted to welcome Eric to GLC,” Soren Reynertson, managing general partner and co-founder of GLC, said. “As the financing landscape evolves, clients need truly integrated and independent advice across M&A, restructuring and capital raising. Eric’s deep experience and relationships across the private equity and institutional investor communities make him uniquely qualified to lead this effort.”
“I am excited to join GLC and launch a differentiated capital markets advisory business,” Coombs said. “Our initial focus will be on lower- and core-middle-market private equity firms that often do not have in-house capital markets capabilities, as well as founder-owned companies seeking unbiased access to private credit. By pairing GLC’s independence with tailored financing solutions, we can deliver flexibility, access and impact for clients.”
