Deloitte, Ernst & Young Vets Join Conway MacKenzie as Directors

Conway MacKenzie, a management consulting and financial advisory firm, has added two independent directors to its board of directors: Bryan Segedi, formerly of Ernst & Young, and Anne Taylor, formerly of Deloitte.

Segedi spent more than 30 years with Ernst & Young, ascending to the role of deputy global vice chair of Assurance services, where he was responsible for over 77,000 professionals and $12 billion in global revenues. His previous positions at Ernst & Young included advisory global markets leader, Americas vice chair of Assurance services and vice chair of the North Central region.

Taylor recently retired from Deloitte, where she was a vice chairman and the managing partner of the Houston office. During her 30-year career with Deloitte, Taylor held several additional leadership roles, including as Deloitte’s first chief strategy officer across several business units; U.S. and global leader of e-business, which became the cyber-security practice; strategic partner advisor to the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneer program; and leader of the succession process for office-specific Deloitte managing directors. Taylor was the first woman to serve on the Deloitte U.S. executive committee and the management committee of Deloitte Global.

“Similar to large public companies, we continue to evolve our firm to higher levels of growth and accountability,” stated Don MacKenzie, chief executive officer and co-founder of Conway MacKenzie. “I am pleased to have these two highly respected individuals with longstanding careers at world-renowned professional services firms join our board of directors. Their experience and insight will be beneficial to Conway MacKenzie as we continue our pursuit of aggressive growth and development.”

Segedi and Taylor join the following Conway MacKenzie senior managing director board members: Don MacKenzie, Jeff Zappone, Steve Wybo, Mike Correra and Tim Stallkamp.
