According to Reuters, the Brexit vote has not had a critical effect on the U.S. leveraged loan market, with the exception of two leveraged loan deals that have been put on hold.

Reuters reported that U.S. equity markets, which rose dramatically after an initial plummet, have bolstered confidence in riskier deals.

Data from Thomson Reuters LPC indicated that Q2/16 syndicated lending was up 55% sequentially, with leverage lending increasing 64% to $214 billion.
