M&T Bank said it appointed Mohannad (Mo) Jishi as manager of commercial banking for the Greater Baltimore region. In his new role, Jishi oversees a team of relationship managers that provide a full range of financial products and services to mid-sized companies in the region.

Jishi has more than 17 years of banking experience and has been with M&T since 1995.

“Mo is the ideal person to lead our commercial banking efforts in Greater Baltimore,” said Atwood (Woody) Collins III, president of M&T Bank’s Mid-Atlantic Division. “Mo is a skilled and experienced banker and has a strong understanding of the market and the communities in this region.”

In his career with M&T, Jishi has served in several roles, including manager for commercial deposits and treasury management and manager for commercial equipment finance. He has also worked in the finance division, leading M&T’s commercial finance segment support group and the corporate strategy group.

Jishi holds a B.S. degree in molecular genetics from the University of Rochester, an M.S. in statistics from the University at Buffalo and an M.B.A. from the University at Buffalo.
